Privacy Policy

We believe in transparency. Here is exactly what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Overview

ImageColorPicker.pro ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and tools at imagecolorpicker.pro.

The short version: our color tools process everything locally in your browser. Your images and color data never leave your device. We do use standard analytics and advertising services which involve some data collection — this policy explains that in detail.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Tool Usage Data (Not Collected)

When you use our color tools — including the Image Color Picker — all processing happens entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and JavaScript. Images you upload are never sent to our servers. Color codes you generate are never stored or transmitted. We have no access to the files you work with in our tools.

2b. Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized information including: pages visited, time spent on site, browser and device type, general geographic location (country/city level), and referring websites. This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve our tools and content.

2c. Advertising Data

We display ads through third-party advertising networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing behavior. Ad networks we may work with include Google AdSense and Mediavine. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they collect and use data.

2d. Contact Form Data

If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never sold or shared with third parties.

3. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Functional cookies: Storing your dark/light mode preference so it persists across visits.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics cookies to measure site traffic and usage patterns.
  • Advertising cookies: Third-party ad network cookies for serving relevant advertisements.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality and the relevance of ads shown to you.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to: operate and improve our color tools, understand how visitors use the site, display relevant advertising to keep our tools free, and respond to contact form submissions.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

  • Google Analytics — website analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Google AdSense / Mediavine — advertising networks
  • Google Fonts — font delivery (fonts.googleapis.com)

6. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us through our contact page.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we do collect. Since our tools process data locally in your browser and do not upload files to servers, the primary security benefit is that your most sensitive tool usage data never reaches us at all.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us. We are happy to answer any questions about how we handle data.
